West Chester University/Community College of Philadelphia
The two schools that I am comparing are West Chester University & and Community College of Philadelphia. I picked these schools because they are close to me and I am the most interested in them. West Chester holds 14,211 students where as though CCP holds 19,051 students. In that case West Chester would be a better choice than CCP because the class rooms will be smaller. 29% of applicants are admitted at West Chester, and 93% are admitted to CCP. West Chester only has 8% students of my racial background, where as though CCP has 47%. The transfer rate at CCP is 84%; the graduation rate at West Chester is 79%. West Chester University cost 7,211 a year to attend, CCP cost 4,800 a year.
To attend both West Chester University, and Community College of Philadelphia you will have to have your High School Diploma or your GED. Then you will have to fill out the applications for the schools, than when you’re done filling out all of the application, and the paper work that’s needed you have to pay your application fee.
At the end of all this I would say that Community College of Philadelphia is the best college for me. They cost less; they have a high percentage of students that’s the same racial background as me, and it way closer to me than West Chester. So if I had to choose out of the two schools, I will pick Community College of Philadelphia.
